For those of you who are moving up and out, keep your Jewish pride burning strong wherever you are. You are part of something so big and strong; we are all one big Jewish family. The stories you learned are a precious part of our history and is there to be a guiding light to you throughout all times.
To make graduation meaningful, this year we did something different and had our students present a topic connected to the subject "Roots".
All students did a beautiful job both creating and presenting their topics.
The context of the projects were meaningful, the creativity and hard work were recognized and we are so proud of our students! (and parents who helped and participated!)
The truth is, "Graduation" is just a formal term for completion of a program, yet, Jewish education doesn't stop when Hebrew School is over. It does not stop at the Bar or Bat Mitzvah. It doesn't stop ever. So, I want to congratulate the "graduates" who I know will always keep learning and will take whatever you learned in CHS into your future lives as you make a tremendous impact and go forward.
I want to congratulate those who are moving up and who will continue on in our program for the next years. It has been a pleasure teaching you and learning from you as well. Keep that Jewish pride strong and keep making us proud!
